FAQ
Q:What is a freight class?
A:Every item is assigned a freight class which directly correlates to the shipping cost. Every possible shipment has a class of either: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 77.5, 85, 92.5, 100, 110, 125, 150, 175, 200, 250, 300, 400, & 500. In general, the lower the class, the less costly (per pound) to ship.
Q: How will my shipment be transported with a Less-than-Truck loaded (LTL) Freight Carrier?
A: Shipment will be transported via truck along with other customer’s shipments. So that the cost can be minimized.
Q: How will my shipment be transported with a Full Truckload Freight Carrier?
A: If your shipment is large enough to take up the entire truck space, it is a “full truck load freight carrier” and will be transported via truck all by itself.
